We, İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership, have prepared this Privacy Notice to inform you regarding your personal data that may be processed by İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership, and regarding the purposes of processing, methods and legal grounds for collection, categories of recipients to whom the personal data may be transferred, and your rights under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“LPPD”). This Privacy Notice applies to personal data of individuals and shall not apply in cases where İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership acts as the “data processor”.
As one of the leading law firms in Turkey, we attribute great importance to protecting the personal data that we process in a “data controller” capacity within the framework of applicable legislation, including the LPPD, the Attorneyship Law numbered 1136, as well as to the confidentiality between attorneys and clients. We prioritize transparency and accountability with respect to data processing activities and processes. We process your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, only for the purposes and limitations defined below, and take the utmost care to implement the necessary and appropriate technical and organizational measures.
Our relevant business processes and data processing processes are carried out in accordance with the pre-determined corporate policies and procedures that have been prepared in conformity with applicable legislation and are operated on our ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certified infrastructure. Our personal data processing processes are carried out as explained under this Privacy Notice in conformity with our policies and procedures regarding the processing, retention and disposal of personal data and the relevant legislation.
Your personal data may be collected through the information and documents that you have produced or shared with us prior to, during, or after receiving services from İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership or selling goods/services to İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership or through other similar relations, transactions, stakeholders, publicly available resources and platforms (such as media records, the trade registry, and the chamber of commerce); communications, research, meetings, interviews, and correspondences that İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership has made with you and through other channels, including our website and social media, via oral, written, and electronic platforms, and are processed through automatic (electronic systems and programs that we use) and non-automatic (physical files and physical record keeping activities) means for the purposes explained in this Privacy Notice.

Your personal data may be processed within the scope of the legal advisory/advocacy services we provide to our clients, our business development and procurement processes, as well as the administration, management, and financial operations of İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership, for the purposes described below and to the extent necessary, on the legal grounds that processing personal data is necessary for the enactment or fulfilment of the contract as indicated under Article 5(2)(c) of the LPPD, you have made the personal data available to the public in accordance with Article 5(2)(d) of the LPPD, the data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of any right under Article 5(2)(e) of the LPPD, or that processing personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of İyigün & Oktay Attorney Partnership in accordance with Article 5(2)(f) of the LPPD or upon your consent where necessary.

We will be able to provide a more satisfactory response to your request if your request is precise, explicit, and clear. Please note that your request should concern your own data, or if you are acting on behalf of another person, you must provide us with a special power of attorney covering the request. As per the regulations, your request should include your name, surname, Turkish ID number (for foreigners, nationality information and passport number), proof of identity, and the contact information for where our response to your request should be sent.
KİŞİSEL VERİLERİN İŞLENMESİ HAKKINDA AYDINLATMA BİLDİRİMİ
İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı tarafından işlenebilecek kişisel verileriniz, bunların işlenme amaçları, kişisel veri toplamanın hukuki sebep ve yöntemi, kişisel verilerinizin aktarılabileceği alıcı grupları ve 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (“KVKK”) kapsamındaki haklarınızla ilgili olarak sizleri bilgilendirmek için işbu Bildirimi hazırladık. Bu Bildirim, gerçek kişilerin kişisel verilerini kapsamakta olup, İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın “veri işleyen” olarak hareket ettiği hallere tatbik olmamaktadır.
Türkiye’nin önde gelen hukuk bürolarından biri olarak, KVKK, 1136 sayılı Avukatlık Kanunu ve ilgili mevzuat uyarınca “veri sorumlusu” sıfatıyla işlediğimiz kişisel verilerinizin korunmasına ve avukat-müvekkil gizliliğine büyük önem veriyor, kişisel veri işleme faaliyetleri ve ilgili süreçlerimizde şeffaflık ve hesap verebilirliği ön planda tutuyoruz. Kişisel verilerinizi mevzuata uygun olarak ve aşağıda belirtilen amaçlar ve sınırlar kapsamında işlemekte ve bunlara uygun gerekli idari ve teknik tedbirleri almaya son derece özen göstermekteyiz.
ISO 27001:2013 Bilgi Güvenliği Yönetim Sistemi, ISO 22301 İş Sürekliliği Yönetim Sistemi ve ISO 9001:2015 Kalite Yönetim Sistemi sertifikasyonlarına sahip altyapımız çerçevesinde, kişisel verilerin işlenmesi süreçleri de dahil, ilgili iş süreçlerimiz mevzuata uygun olarak hazırlanmış, önceden belirlenmiş kurumsal politika ve prosedürlere uygun olarak yürütülmektedir. Kişisel verilerin işlenmesi süreçlerimiz, İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın kişisel verileri işlenmesi, saklanması ve imhasına ilişkin politika ve prosedürleri ile mevzuata uygun olarak ve işbu Bildirimde açıklanan şekilde gerçekleştirilmektedir.
Kişisel verileriniz, İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’ndan hizmet alınması ya da İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’na ürün/hizmet satılmasına yönelik ürün/hizmet ilişkisi ya da benzeri ilişkiler öncesinde, sırasında veya sonrasında, oluşturduğunuz ya da paylaştığınız bilgi ve belgeler ile işlemler, paydaşlar, kamuya açık kaynak ve platformlar (basın, ticaret sicili ve ticaret odası kayıtları gibi), İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın sizinle ve sair kanallardan yaptığı iletişim ve araştırma, toplantı, görüşme ve yazışmalar ile internet sitemiz veya sosyal medya vasıtasıyla sözlü, yazılı ve elektronik ortamlarda toplanmakta ve bu metinde açıklanan amaçlarla otomatik (kullandığımız elektronik sistem ve programlar) ve otomatik olmayan (fiziki dosya ve kayıt tutulması) yöntemlerle işlenebilmektedir.
Kişisel verileriniz, ilgili mevzuatta bu verilerin saklanması için öngörülen bir süre var ise bu süre kadar ve/veya işlendikleri amaç için gerekli olan süre boyunca Türkiye’de saklanmaktadır. İlgili sürelerin sonunda, kişisel verileriniz mevzuata ve İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın ilgili politika ve prosedürlerine uygun olarak silinecek, yok edilecek veya anonimleştirilecektir.

Kişisel Verilerin İşlenmesinin Hukuki Sebepleri
Kişisel verileriniz, müvekkillerimize sunduğumuz hukuki danışmanlık/avukatlık hizmet süreçlerimiz, iş geliştirme ve tedarik süreçlerimiz ile İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın idare ve yönetimi ile finansal operasyonları çerçevesinde aşağıda belirtilen amaçlarla gerekli olduğu ölçüde, KVKK’nın 5/2(c) maddesinde öngörülen, bir sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifasıyla doğrudan doğruya ilgili olması, KVKK’nın 5/2(d) maddesi kapsamında kişisel verilerin tarafınızca alenileştirilmiş olması, KVKK’nın 5/2(e) maddesi kapsamında veri işlemenin bir hakkın tesisi, kullanılması veya korunması için zorunlu olması ya da KVKK’nın 5/2(f) maddesi gereği veri sorumlusu İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın meşru menfaatleri için veri işlenmesinin zorunlu olması hukuki sebepleriyle veya gereken hallerde açık rızanız çerçevesinde işlenebilmektedir.
Kişisel verileriniz ayrıca, hukuki süreçlerin yürütülmesi/karşılanması amacıyla KVKK’nın 5/2(e) maddesi gereği hakkın tesisi, kullanılması veya korunması için veri işlemenin zorunlu olması hukuki sebebiyle ve başta 1136 sayılı Avukatlık Kanunu olmak üzere yürürlükteki mevzuat kapsamındaki yükümlülüklerimizin getirilebilmesi ve yetkili mercilerin bilgi belge taleplerinin karşılanması gereklilikleri çerçevesinde KVKK’nın 5/2(ç) maddesi gereği hukuki yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi veya KVKK’nın 5/2(f) maddesi gereği veri sorumlusu İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın meşru menfaatleri için veri işlenmesinin zorunlu olması hukuki sebepleriyle işlenebilmektedir.
Mevzuat değişiklikleri ve hukuki gelişmeler ile bülten, yayın ve etkinliklerimize yönelik bilgilendirmeler kapsamındaki kişisel veriler, hukuki danışmanlık/avukatlık ilişkisinin gerekleri ölçüsünde KVKK’nın 5/2(f) maddesi gereği veri sorumlusu İyigün & Oktay Avukatlık Ortaklığı’nın meşru menfaatleri için veri işlenmesinin zorunlu olması hukuki sebebiyle ya da hizmet, yayın ve etkinliklerimizle ilgilenen kişilerin açık rızaları çerçevesinde işlenebilmektedir.

Hukuki danışmanlık ve avukatlık hizmetlerimiz çerçevesinde, müvekkillerimiz, proje paydaşları, ana faaliyet alanıyla ilgili danışmanlık/destek alınan tedarikçiler, görüş temin edilen uzmanlar, ilgili danışmanlık ya da avukatlık hizmetine veya uyuşmazlığa konu ya da taraf olan kişiler ile bunların temsilci ve çalışanları ile hakim, savcı, taraf vekili, bilirkişi, noter gibi üçüncü kişiler ile ilgili veriler işlenebilmektedir.
